Nasci em São Paulo em 1973, comecei a pintar aos 14 anos. Em 1990, tornei-me aluno de Luiz Pinto (1939-2012) e com ele aprendi muito sobre a pintura à óleo aprimorando-me tecnicamente durante três anos de estudo. Ao mesmo tempo cursei a Escola Panamericana de Artes onde desenvolvi habilidades de desenho. Formei-me em Comunicação Social pela FAAP em 1994, tendo realizado trabalhos de ilustração para diversas agências de propaganda antes de me dedicar exclusivamente à pintura.
Pinto a partir de estudos executados ao ar livre o que facilita um resultado de fluidez e espontaneidade. Considero que uma boa pintura é resultado de muita dedicação e conhecimento dos fundamentos aliados ao hábito da prática constante.
O estudo dos mestres brasileiros e europeus do passado e do contato com os atuais artistas americanos tiveram grande influência no amadurecimento de minha obra, principalmente no uso da paleta cromática e na maneira de realizar minhas composições. O domínio das cores e valores é essencial à construção de harmonia e ritmo, características presentes na obra dos grandes paisagistas da história e algo que busco desde sempre.
Tento transpor para a tela os detalhes essenciais à expressividade e à veracidade das paisagens que interpreto.

I was Born in São Paulo in 1973 and started to paint when I was 14 years old. In 1990 I became a student of Luiz Pinto (1939-2012) and, in three years of studies, improved my techniques a great deal heaving learned a lot about oil painting. At the same time I attended the Pan American School of Arts where I developed drawing skills. I graduated in Social Communication from FAAP in 1994, and worked as an illustrator for several advertising agencies before dedicating myself exclusively to painting.
I paint from studies performed outdoors, which facilitates a result of fluidity and spontaneity. I consider that a good painting is the result of dedication and knowledge of the fundamentals allied to the habit of constant practice.
The study of Brazilian and European masters of the past and contact with the current American artists were influential in the maturing of my work, especially in the use of the color palette and the way of performing my compositions. The mastery of colors and values is essential to the construction of harmony and rhythm, characteristics that are present in the work of the great landscapists of history and something that I have always sought.
I try to transpose to canvas the details essential to the expressiveness and veracity of the landscapes I interpret.
